Research in Mathematics Education in Australasia 1992-1995 is, in the first instance, a testament to the extensive and wide-ranging research in the field emanating from Australasia, and to the success of the Mathematics Education Research Group of Australasia (MERGA) as the major organisation giving voice and impetus to such activity.
